Boondock SinnersRaised in the foothills of the Berkshires, Paul Duffy has been playing and performing since he was a teenager, and enjoys performing primarily as an acoustic guitarist and vocalist. He dabbles with the bass guitar, uke, keyboards and often accompanies himself on the harmonica.

He was heavily influenced by the Beatles, and they are still his favorite all time artists. 70’s acoustic rock seemed to suit him as well, though he likes a fair amount of the newer acoustic pop music, and never tires of learning new techniques and styles.

Paul has also enjoyed hosting and emceeing open mic venues for 15 of the past 18 years, starting this run in the Pioneer Valley in the 90’s, then a 12 Year stint at The Front Street Coffeehouse in Salem followed by venues at Polcari’s in Woburn and Murphy’s in Salem. He has been a resident of the North Shore since 1999.
His current musical endeavors are well known locally and on the North Shore, as he greatly enjoys being one of The Boondock Sinners, an acoustic pop duo partnering with his friend Donna Landry since early 2014.

When Paul isn’t doing something musical or traveling with his wife, he is a Quality Manager by day at a manufacturing firm in Winchester MA. His sharp eye for detail and organization and people skills are put to good use daily at this position, but he usually still daydreams about music, performing, and putting on shows during most of his waking hours. It’s where his spirit resides.
